Head, shoulders, knees and toes...

We did a lot of stuff to day, but I'll start from the beginning (what a suprise, stories never start at the beginning ..).
This morning we had a delicious breakfast, since we finally got to try the waffles (with honey!). After breakfast we went to the school again, and yes again by TukTuk and we love it! At the school we did a lot before lunchtime, we did the humanities inventory (I truly believe all geography, history and social studies teachers are unorganized) and we did some filing of the schooltrips.
In the afternoon we just had a little bit of time to pack the Art inventory, just before going to the (local, which means Lao) sister-school. This. I can tell you, is so different from any school we have seen our been to. No glass in the frames of the windows, almost no books and still the kids are happy and were excited about us being there (with 3 teachers from the international school). Although there are some difficulties with communication, because they don't speak English and we don't speak Lao, they still pick up the English that the teachers try to teach them. The teachers teach them by just speaking English, but also by playing games with numbers and singing songs. We also sang along with the kids when they did head, shoulders, knees and toes. When we left all the kids were outside and they were all waving (cutee!).
We had a wonderfull time today, also because we went to the night market (which means money spendingg!) and we had the oppurtunity to see this local school. Anyways hope you guys are fine too, and I'll upload some photos later this evening!

Shame I missed seeing you and Ruth sing head, shoulders etc! Seems to me you had a great day.
